Our two staff members currently work out of two offices, one in Vancouver and and one in Toronto.
Philippe Kruchten is founder and president of KESL. He has some 30+ years of experience in software development in transportation, aerospace, telecommunications, defense and software development tools and methods. He is currently a professor of software engineering at the University of British Columbia.
Philippe is available for process assessments and architecture assessments. He also occasionally delivers training sessions on these topics, from a few hours to a few days, and in particular on the Rational Unified Process, which he developed while at Rational (now IBM).
Nicolas Kruchten is a principal of KESL. He is a graduate of the University of Toronto's Engineering Science program. He has 8 years of experience in software development, ranging from multi-user web-based applications and Intranets to distributed scientific computing and artificial intelligence applications. He is currently working for KESL as a software engineer, with clients in the transportation and non-profit sectors.
Based in Toronto, Canada, Nicolas is available for contract or consulting work in software development of any kind (including application, web application and Intranet development).
